Bringing Clarity to a Noisy Space

ADHD is everywhere right now. It shows up in your feed, in conversations, and in thousands of self-checklists trying to make sense of what people are feeling. But for all the noise, one thing hasn’t changed: people who might have ADHD are still stuck waiting for answers.

Family members with ADHD? I have them. Friends with ADHD? I have them, and you probably do too. It shows up in classrooms, workdays, relationships, and in moments people can’t always explain. And for too many, it goes unspoken or unrecognized for years.

Not everyone has access to care, or the right words to explain what they’re going through. A lot of people are left wondering if what they’re experiencing is real, or just them not trying hard enough. It builds slowly, and most don’t know where to start.

We also have to be honest: technology may be contributing to the noise, distraction, and overload that surrounds ADHD. But it should also be part of the solution. The tools we build should reduce confusion and give people somewhere real to start.

That’s why we built ADHDRisk.com. It’s ClaraWell’s second screener, a clear, private starting point for when questions around focus, memory, or emotional regulation begin to surface. Built for people.

Why This Matters to Me

Over the past few years, I’ve worked closely with Dr. Mirok to help design and build the core infrastructure behind an ADHD-focused care program in Calgary. I helped light the fire that has since turned into a unique assessment and group therapy initiative that continues to serve patients every single week. The program has helped people build structure, gain insight, and take back control of their lives.

The impact has been real. I’ve spoken with hundreds of patients about their journey toward understanding ADHD. Many described feeling confused, discouraged by access issues, and overwhelmed by the sheer volume of conflicting information. When we first began, the average wait time for an ADHD assessment and group therapy was around two months. Today, that wait can stretch anywhere from nine to fourteen months. Demand has grown dramatically, but the path to care hasn’t kept up. Too many people. Not enough specialists. We’re trying to fix that one step at a time.

Dr. Mirok and I both recognize a real problem, there’s a critical lack of early clinical clarity in the ADHD care process. And this isn’t just a Calgary issue. It’s global.

ClaraWell™ and ADHDRisk.com are built to meet people earlier in the process, offering clarity, compassion, and clinical insight.

What ADHDRisk.com Offers

The screener is built to be simple, respectful, and immediately helpful.

  • A quick, conversational screening experience
  • A private result summary for personal reflection
  • No sign-up. No barriers.

A quiet place to start, the entire experience takes only a few minutes and is available now.

Future versions of ClaraWell’s tools will allow users to bring their micro-assessment results directly to their general practitioner. We believe the first step toward care shouldn’t require waiting months or years. These screeners are designed to act as a clinical entry point, helping patients express what they’re going through more clearly and giving providers a more informed place to begin.

We’re also working on French and Spanish versions of our screeners. Accessibility has always been at the heart of ClaraWell™, and we believe language should never stand in the way of understanding your own health.

The Reality of ADHD

ADHD might seem trendy, but it’s a real neurological condition that disrupts lives in ways that are often overlooked or misunderstood.

Millions deal with it every day without support, without clear answers, and without a system that meets them where they are. Awareness is growing, but care still lags behind, held back by waitlists, too few specialists, and the complexity of getting help.

We built the ADHDRisk Learn Hub for real people navigating real questions. It isn’t written in clouded medical jargon or hidden behind layers of a bloated website. It’s designed to be clear, respectful, and immediately useful. It’s a place to slow down, get oriented, and access the kind of information we wish more people had at the very beginning. Answering questions like What is ADHD?, What types of ADHD are there?, and What kind of treatment options are available?

ADHDRisk.com is a quiet step forward, a tool built with empathy and respect for the people using it. It’s part of a larger effort to create intelligent, lightweight tools that bring healthcare closer to the individual, one meaningful step at a time.

Turning back to sleep is our next focus, as someone who has dealt with insomnia personally, I know how hard it is to function when your nights are unpredictable or broken. That’s why we are building our next tool to address it head-on.
InsomniaRisk.com, a guided screener for understanding common sleep challenges, built with the same core foundations.

These early tools are part of a much bigger constellation. Every conversation helps shape them into real, valuable assets for the next generation of healthcare.

Always ClaraWell
